As part of our commitment to providing you with a newer and faster API for alerts management, we are announcing the end-of-life for the Lucene Metric Alert feature by the end of September 2024.
A notice about this deprecation has already been placed in the Coralogix portal. To ensure a smooth transition, all existing alerts will be automatically converted to PromQL by Coralogix.

Who is this relevant for?
This status page is relevant for any customer that has Metric alerts with Lucene query.

What should I do?
Get familiar with the deprecation timeline. You may choose to manually update your metric alerts from Lucene to PromQL before September 16th, 2024. If no action is taken, Coralogix will automatically convert them for you.

Deprecation Timeline:

September 1st, 2024: Editing and creating new Lucene metric alerts will no longer be possible.
September 16th, 2024: All Lucene metric alerts will be automatically converted to PromQL.
End of September 2024: The Lucene metric alert option will be fully removed from the UI.

This change does not effect metric alerts that are written with PromQL.
Since this change only involves the query language, there should be no impact on how your metric alerts are processed or how notifications are handled. However, if you notice any discrepancies, please reach out to our support team immediately.

If you have any further questions you are welcome to contact our 24/7 support team.
