Coralogix allows its users to directly query their archive data from the user interface using the Lucene or DataPrime syntax.

If your S3 bucket is located in a different region than your Coralogix account, every archive query will be pulled from that bucket, resulting in up to 7 cents per GB of data.

To reduce these costs to zero, we ask our customers to move their S3 bucket to the same region as their Coralogix account.

Here are proposed steps to achieve this:
1. Create a new S3 bucket in your AWS account under the relevant region
2. Configure the new S3 bucket in your Coralogix account (https://coralogix.com/docs/archive-s3-bucket-forever)
3. Copy the directories from the old S3 bucket to the new one (https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/copy-s3-objects-account)

The option of connecting NEW S3 buckets from other regions than the Coralogix account will be disabled starting January 15th, 2023.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
