Affected systems: Logging alert engine.
What's happening: To improve system stability, we plan to upgrade our logging alerts engine by changing the way it queries logs data.
Expected impact: None. The change has been extensively tested, running alongside the existing engine, showing no gaps in engine behavior. Metric alerting engine is unaffected.
Additional details: Our team tested this change extensively, and we feel confident that we have covered a wide enough sample of alert types and queries for it not to affect them. Although, as is always the case when we make changes to a system, unexpected issues may arise. In that case, our in-app Support team is always available 24/7 to help resolve any issues.
