On February 15th we will be sunsetting Jaeger and moving to the Coralogix Tracing UI. The advantages of using Coralogix's Traces UI over Jaeger are:
- Utilizing Lucene for querying Traces - Utilizing our archive queries on your Traces - Linkage to related logs and metrics - Use of Dependency Graph - Use of Saved Views - Use of Coralogix's Explore screen capabilities
Furthermore, more advanced features like Archive Queries on Traces, Traces 2 Metrics, and Traces Block Rules are in development and require a change in the writing scheme, which Jaeger does not support.
If you haven't yet experienced Coralogix's Traces UI, we invite you to do so and would appreciate being notified of any Jaeger features or capabilities that you find to be missing in Coralogix.
