We are excited to introduce Alerts API v3 and the corresponding Terraform Provider v2, which bring enhanced alert management capabilities and new features to the Coralogix alerts.
Alerts API v3 enables us to stream new features in the alerting mechanism and the new Terraform Provider v2 aligns seamlessly with it, ensuring a smooth integration. We recommend that you will update the current alert API and Terraform provider. There is no planned deprecation of the current API and Terraform Provider.
How to Migrate? Customers using Terraform Provider v1 should migrate to v2 to get access the new features and schema compatibility. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Migration Manual to transition your Terraform files.
If I will not migrate? The legacy Alerts API v2 and Terraform Provider v1 remain fully operational. There is no planned deprecation of these versions, so customers using these tools can continue as usual without interruption.
Why should I migrate? All new alert-related features will be available only on Alerts API v3 and Terraform Provider v2. Legacy versions (API v2 and Terraform Provider v1) will not support any new features. The Coralogix Web Application uses Alerts API v3 to enable new features. Important: If legacy versions (API v2 or Terraform Provider v1) are in use, new features will remain disabled.
How do I get access to the new features (I am an existing customer) Existing customers must confirm their eligibility with Coralogix Support by verifying one of the following: Option A: You do not use third-party API tools or Terraform Provider to manage alerts. Option B: You have successfully migrated to Alerts API v3 and Terraform Provider v2. Once verified, Coralogix Support will enable access to the new features.
